About Me

Faith Boulanger

Hi, my name is Faith Boulanger! I am an undergraduate student at Whittier College, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Child Development, driven by a passion for understanding and supporting the social and emotional growth of young children. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am a dedicated student-athlete on the basketball team, where I’ve learned valuable lessons in teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Currently, I am interning at Broadoak School, working closely with preschoolers aged 2.5 to 4 years. In this role, I focus on fostering a nurturing environment that emphasizes social and emotional competence. I believe in the power of engaging children through play and structured activities to promote their social skills and emotional well-being. My internship has provided practical insights into creating inclusive spaces where every child feels valued and supported. Collaborating with experienced educators, I design engaging activities and lesson plans that encourage positive interactions among children. I am committed to ensuring that each child feels a sense of belonging and is empowered to express their emotions in healthy ways.
